Abusive relationships are common but hard to detect for many young adults. The stories presented in this project are a collection of testimonials from people in our community. We aim to show the realistic side of harmful relationships, while challenging the mainstream media portrayal of fantasy relationships. By juxtaposing text from true stories with child-like imagery we emphasise the problems with the often romanticized abusive relationships we are exposed to as children.
